TKS elected best telemark brand by telemark users.

The last week, the Telemark Shop did a little brand contest on their socials medias. After a preselection didi by ourself, we wanted to know which is the preferit brand of the telemarkers. After a big fight, it’s stupefying but the rookie of the contest won. The TKS Just Telemark brand arrived to win against the imposing brand with only 3 years of existence. The brand become in a very short time a reference in the telemark world.  Their skis are create for this practice and have reinforcement to avoid tearing and answer to all the telemark practice.

It’s for us the occasion to present you this brand and their range.

The Daggie was their first ski. Versatile, rigid and playful, you can take this ski everywhere. Ski tracks or freeride, it is capable to go in all the lands. We advise you to put a 22 Design Outlow or a TheMequipment Meidjo on it to use the complete potential of this ski. Next you will have the possibility to choose au shoe in the Scarpa family which answer to all the telemark practice and your practice.

After that the Thobias, the Mika freeride, the mika freetouring and the TKS pro appears.

The Thobias is the ski touring of the TKS range. Light to go up and playful to go down, it’s the ultimate touring telemark ski. On hard snow, powder or trafolled you can give challenges to the Thobias but it will always answer to your solicitations. For touring, the Meidjo from TheMequipment or the Linx from 22 Desingn will be great. It’s the perfect combination between the deflection of the ski touring and the fun of the telemark on downhill.

For the shoes, it will be preferable to go on a Crispi Shiver, a Scott Voodoo or a Scarpa TX Pro to use all the capacities of the Thobias and the fixations.

Move on the Mika.

The freeride, is with 107 under the foot a really good ski for powder and trafolled snow. It stays correct on ski tracks because of its maneuverability. For a telemark freeride ski, you need a telemark freeride fixation. This is why a Freeride or a Freedom from Rottefella is perfectly adapted to the ski. A little Crispi Evo for the end and you have a very good combo for your future freeride telemark sessions.

The Freetouring it’s a little bit lighter and thinner than its big brother. It’s a ideal ski for touring in huge conditions. If the ski is light, you will tireless on the top and you will have the possibility to express yourself plainly on downhill. For the fixation, Outlow from 22 Designs or a Freedome From Rottefella it’s good sensation for sure. For the shoes, a Crispi Evo or a Scarpa TX Pro will give you the strength to use this telemark ski.

To finish, the TKS Pro Racing. It was one of the first of the TKS range. It’s a real competition ski to carv on the ski tracks and destroy your thighs at the end of the day. Rigid and precise, it’s a lethal weapon. To deal with the beast that asks only to speak, a freeride fixation with a raise from Rottefella is necessary to ski correctly with its. After that you have two solutions for your shoes. The Crispi Evo World Cup or the Scarpa TX comp. At least that is needed to meet the demands of this ski.

No you know better this very young brand that specialized in telemark and the fun of free heel.
